Xiaomi Tweets Redmi K20 Launch Date

The device is now listed on Flipkart and confirms its availability via e-commerce Flipkart.

The Flipkart page highlights some key features such as a flagship Snapdragon processor, AI triple cameras, Aura Prime design and in-display fingerprint sensor, among other things.

The first of the new names comes in fourth - the Xiaomi Mi CC9e, bumped its stablemate Redmi K20 Pro down to fifth.

Also, the company is rumoured to be already into the final phase of launching Mi A3, its latest Android One device. As per a Zee Business report, the company is prepared to launch another Hot series device next week but the date and specifications of the device are not known yet. The main difference between the devices lie under the hood, as Redmi K20 will be powered by Snapdragon 730 SoC whereas the Pro variant will get a Snapdragon 855 SoC.

The Redmi K20 Pro was launched in China in multiple variants, and its price in China is set at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 24,900) for the base variant of 6GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. The second variant with 128GB of storage space is priced at 2,099 yuan. As expected, the pricing has not been revealed yet. A 6.3-inch IPS LCD screen at the front and Full HD+ resolution (409ppi) are what you will get from this cool phone from your favourite brand. The smartphone series also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Redmi 7A comes with Octa-core 2.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 439SoC and it comes with 2GB RAM.

Coming to optics, the smartphone has an AI-powered triple rear camera system featuring a 48-megapixel primary shooter with an f/1.75 lens, a 13-megapixel secondary shooter with a wide-angle lens, and a third 8-megapixel shooter with an f/2.4 lens. The pop-up selfie camera has a 20-MP sensor.

On the other hand, the Redmi 7A only features a single 12MP AI rear camera that houses a Sony IMX 486 sensor alongside an LED flash. The dewdrop notch makes room for a larger screen real estate that can be measured with a screen-to-body ratio of 80.3 percent.

The K20 Pro also features a hardware DC dimming support, 960fps slow motion recording and P2i splash proof coating.
