Samsung is also working on its own 64MP camera smartphone, Galaxy A70S, and interestingly both the Realme and Redmi devices would be using the sensors manufactured by Samsung. So Realme 5 could break that trend.

CEO Madhav Sheth has taken to Twitter yet again, to drop a new teaser of the Realme 64-megapixel camera phone ahead of the big showcase tomorrow.

Speculation is rife that this 64MP camera will be in a Realme 5 or Realme 5 Pro but there are no official indications of it as such.

The announcement comes a day after the company's rival Xiaomi showed off its first 64MP smartphone imaging technology at a global event in Beijing. Not much about other tech specs and features about the phone has been mentioned but we do know that the device is directly competing with Redmi's upcoming 64MP smartphone as well which is also launching this week but they have been very quiet about the smartphone.

On the other hand, Realme shared some camera samples of Realme 64 megapixel camera which looks extremely good.

Many reports hint it at to be the next Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone, which would come with the Samsung 64-megapixel ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor.

Last week, Realme tweeted what looked like an invitation to a launch event of an upcoming phone.

"I'm able to bring the world's first 64MP camera phone to India so that Indian consumers can enjoy the technology before anybody else in the world". It's just a leak, and you should take it with a pinch of salt. It could be OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro or a smartphone next year. The recently shared pictures prove top headquarters images with colour accurate description and detailing.

The Realme images show better colours, more details, better shadow and accurate description. According to TechRadar, he has done the same for the launch of the Realme X, changing his Twitter handle to Madhav X.
