Celtics The 2019-20 Boston Celtics schedule is announced

The 2019-20 National Basketball Association schedule will be revealed today live on ESPN's The Jump on TSN3, TSN4 and TSN Direct at 3pm et/Noon pt. As we saw in the Western Conference last season, every game matters.

- The Celtics will host Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in an Eastern Conference semifinals rematch October 30. Lakers come to Boston on January 20, Martin Luther King Day, which is always a special occasion in the NBA.Breaking tradition, the Celtics will not play at home on the afternoon of Super Bowl Sunday.

Kawhi Leonard, center, and Paul George, second right, holding their new team jerseys, pose with Los Angeles Clippers President of Basketball Operations Lawrence Frank, left, head coach Doc Rivers, second left, and team chairman Steve Ballmer during a press conference in Los Angeles, Wednesday, July 24, 2019. The other Christmas matchups (all times Eastern): Milwaukee at Philadelphia, 2:30 p.m.; Houston at Golden State, 5 p.m.; Clippers at Lakers, 8 p.m.; New Orleans at Denver, 10:30 p.m.

Warriors (30) and Rockets (26) have the most major nationally televised games scheduled for next season.

The team will embark on two five-game road trips (Nov. 8-16 and March 1-9) and the longest homestand is four games from February 21-28, which includes one of two appearances by reigning league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. That number falls to 33 this season, a dip of 42 percent.

The stretches of four games in five days might be gone for good. Chemistry will be something that the Lakers have to work on early in the season, as many of their players were not on the team last season. This will be the third consecutive season where no team gets tasked with handling one of those.

Give credit to the Los Angeles Clippers as they have pulled off a number of shrewd moves over the years that have ultimately led them to become a legitimate championship contender with two All-Star players on their roster.

April 15, 2020, will mark the final day of the regular season, which will feature 13 games.

The new Heat forward will have a whole slew of reunions this year, including October 27 when Miami goes to Minnesota and on November 23 when the Heat visit Philadelphia.
