Giggs Believes Lukaku Cannot Be Faulted For Wanting Out Of Man United

"He was hopeful of going there with Everton proposing a loan with an option to buy, United insisted on a transfer, pricing the player at £25m, so no surprise that didn't happen".

The young striker made the ideal start to the 2019-20 season by netting a double in a 4-0 win over Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday , with Anthony Martial and Daniel James completing the scoring.

Another £66m has been invested on 21-year-old pair Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James.

United concluded their business with the record-breaking £80 million ($97m) signing of Harry Maguire from Leicester City at the start of August, but a couple of high-profile departures have also affected the shape of Solskjaer's squad. He instead joined Paris Saint Germain on a free transfer.

And Solskjaer said: "I feel we are on the right track because we have a better squad a better team and a better foundation this season to improve and take that first step".

Manchester United manager Solskjaer isn't happy that the club managed to lose midfielder Ander Herrera this summer, according to transfer expert Duncan Castles.

"It's been normal for me when I have been at this club to be part of a team that should win or challenge".

"Of course we want to put [fan frustration] right and the only way we can silence any doubts is by playing good football, showing the team we want to be, the style we want to play, and our fans - when they see that intention - have always been supportive of the team".

Solskjaer also claimed that a complete overhaul at Old Trafford will take time, before hinting that players could still be offloaded over the next few weeks. There's a group of young players together and we can start to become what we decide to become.

"Football is a huge passion, it means so much to the fans, and I look forward to being part of the Premier League with them until I return to my place on the touchline".

"Rashford has got no excuses to not score over 20 league goals next season", the Frenchman told Bwin .

Solskjaer said: "You can call it a gamble - but I'm just staying true to what I believe in".

"There is money available when the right players are available".
