Little Women trailer: Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh and all-star cast

Past adaptations of "Little Women" have included director George Cukor's 1933 film starring Katharine Hepburn as Jo, director Gillian Armstrong's 1994 film with Winona Ryder in that role, and the 2017 PBS miniseries directed by Vanessa Caswill and starring Maya Hawke as Jo. Jo, Meg, Amy, and Beth March are played by Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, and Eliza Scanlen, respectively, as Timothée Chalamet stars as their neighbor Laurie. Watch the first trailer for the movie below.

The new film adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's 1868 novel was filmed in MA a year ago.

"Little Women" was big news around MA this past fall, with actors in period-appropriate attire popping up around the Back Bay area and Boston Common as well as prominent Boston spots like the Fairmont Copley Plaza and Arnold Arboretum.

Little Women reunites Saoirse and Timothée Chalamet, 23, who plays Theodore "Laurie" Laurence.

"I'm working on a novel". Now that's some family drama. "She was the person I wanted to be".

Christmas has come early with a trailer for Little Women, the latest in a roster of on-screen adaptations of the classic 1868 book of the same name. The first official stills from the movie, featuring the cast in elaborate costumes, dropped in June 2019.

The film is still unrated - but it's set to hit theaters of December 25. This cast is simply stellar and you know they're going to knock their performances out of the park.
