Olive Garden Announces First-Ever Lifetime Pasta Pass

Olive Garden Announces First-Ever Lifetime Pasta Pass

The Lifetime Pasta Passes will guarantee access to unlimited pasta, salad and breadsticks for life. Here's how it works: On Aug. 15 at 2 p.m. EST sharp, the original Never Ending Pasta Passes will go on sale at for $100 apiece (plus tax) and only for 30 minutes, or until sold out.

The Lifetime Pasta Pass includes a lifetime of unlimited servings of your favorite pastas, homemade sauces and toppings, accompanied by unlimited soup or salad and breadsticks.

Also, new this year is the Lifetime Pasta Pass.

Those who want to upgrade that pass to one that lasts a lifetime can opt in to the "Lifetime Pasta Pass" for an additional $400 plus tax.

Olive Garden fans will have to first purchase a Never Ending Pasta Pass for $100, which gets you nine weeks of unlimited pasta. Of course, there's no guarantee Olive Garden will still be around in 60 years (or that you'll be around for that matter), and even the most dedicated pasta fan isn't going to eat at Olive Garden for 21,915 consecutive days.

Olive Garden stated this never-before-offered pass will be paid off by the time the lucky patron gets to his 45th bowl.

Let's dive right into the numbers: These truly never-ending, gold-colored passes will cost just $500 each - an incredible deal, really.

As with previous "Pasta Pass" promotions, the contest requires customers to visit the promotion website when the passes go on sale.

It's also offering its annual $100 "Never Ending Pasta Pass" that lets customers eat what they want for nine weeks, up from eight weeks a year ago. This year, 24,000 passes will be sold. You can take part in the Never Ending Pasta Bowl promotion on a nightly basis instead, with the unlimited perks starting at $10.99.
