The team is also working on a proper remake of the first System Shock game.

The flawless way to complement the System Shock remake is with an Enhanced Edition of System Shock 2.

Focusing mostly on exploration and figuring out what exactly happen to the crew of the Von Braun, System Shock 2 still retains a lot of its horror trappings even now when its graphics can be generously described as aged.

There aren't any further details than this, but the enhancements will likely be in line with the features planned for Nightdive Studios' System Shock.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of System Shock 2, Nightdive Studios, has announced that they will start work on an enhanced edition of the game.

In an announcement on Twitter, the developer said: "You asked for it and we are working on it".

System Shock 2 was originally developed by Irrational Games and Looking Glass Studios, with famed game designer Ken Levine at the helm. It was released back in 1999 for Windows PC. However, with this news it could mean that System Shock remake is nearly ready to be released.

What's more, System Shock 3 was also confirmed earlier this year. Fingers crossed that Nightdive Studios offers up some sort of collector's edition bundle with all three titles at some point in time.
