Unreleased George Michael song to feature in Christmas film

After her long stint as Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones, Emilia Clarke will grace the silver screen with her upcoming film Last Christmas.

The trailer for Paul Feig's new movie Last Christmas has arrived.

Why does Tom nearly always seem to magically appear when Kate is near?

Is Tom actually a Christmas angel sent from above to help Kate fix her life?

Kate (Emilia Clarke) harumphs around London, a bundle of bad decisions accompanied by the jangle of bells on her shoes, another irritating outcome from her job as an elf in a year-round Christmas shop.

Thompson plays Clarke's mother, while Golding's Crazy Rich Asians co-star Michelle Yeoh plays her boss.

Universal's "Last Christmas", a seasonal romantic comedy underpinned by several of George Michael's hits, will feature a previously unreleased song from the late singer in full at the end of the film, director Paul Feig said Wednesday.

Now, first let me say that this movie (a) comes out on my 28th birthday and (b) is a Christmas movie, so I'm going to love it. But I think this trailer shows that when you show up to Last Christmas (and you should because it looks delightful), expect that Tom isn't just some guy. The George Michael-soundtracked film-which will feature an unreleased song from the iconic British singer-also stars writer Thompson as Adella, Kate's anxious mother and Fleabag breakout Sian Clifford as Kate's sister. We don't really see Tom interact with any other characters so there is a chance that he might be a (literal) ghost from Kate's past, or perhaps the donor who saved her life when she was sick...

"It's a lovely romcom, set in London at the most magical time of the year", Golding shared.

Last Christmas is due to be released in United Kingdom cinemas on November 15.
